Pro

The edge panel and Claude usage

  • The edge panel: your modules in a compact panel on a screen edge.
  • Claude usage: session and weekly limits, reset times and a pace estimate.

Claude usage works with Claude Code and needs a Claude Pro or Max plan.

$5 for 1 year, $10 for 3 years or $15 for 5 years.

Private by design

Your Mac's numbers stay on your Mac.

No account and no analytics. Here is everything Tachy sends, and where.

Native Swift

A small menu bar app, not a web page in a wrapper.

No analytics

Nothing about how you use it is collected.

One server

Tachy only contacts this site, to check for updates, and sends nothing but its version.

Offline licenses

A license is a signed file, checked on your Mac. Tachy never calls home about it.

Claude usage stays local

Tachy asks your own copy of Claude Code for your limits. It never reads Claude Code's tokens or claude.ai cookies, and sends us nothing.

Short answers.

More on the support page
Why does macOS warn me the first time I open Tachy?

Tachy is signed, but not with a paid Apple Developer ID. So the first time it opens, macOS says it can't check Tachy for malware, and asks you to confirm it in System Settings. You do this once. The download page explains each step.

What does Pro cost, and what happens when it ends?

$5 for 1 year, $10 for 3 years or $15 for 5 years. One payment, not a subscription. When it ends, the edge panel and Claude usage turn off, your settings for them are kept, and everything else keeps working.

Does Tachy collect data?

No. There are no analytics. The app only contacts tachy.inferxgate.com, to check for updates, and sends its version number. The privacy policy has the details.

Which Macs does it run on?

macOS 14 Sonoma or later, on Apple Silicon or Intel.
