The short version: the Tachy app collects nothing about you. This website keeps your email address only if you join the waitlist, and only until the launch email has gone out. If you buy Pro, we keep what we need to send you your license and send it again if you lose it.

Who is responsible

InferXgate, India, is responsible for the personal data described here. Under the GDPR that makes us the data controller, and under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act the data fiduciary. Contact us at support-tachy@inferxgate.com.

This website

  • Hosting. Cloudflare hosts this site. Like any web server, it processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, and keeps standard request logs for a limited time. We add nothing to them.
  • No analytics, no cookies. The site has no analytics, sets no cookies, and has no ads, tracking scripts or pixels.
  • Turnstile. The waitlist form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is signing up. It loads only when you start filling in the form, and Cloudflare processes signals from your browser for this under its own privacy policy.

The waitlist

  • What we keep: your email address, whether you’ve confirmed it, and when we created the entry and last emailed you. Not your IP address, and not your name.
  • What for: one email, when Tachy is ready to download. Nothing else, and we never sell or share the list.
  • How long: an address that isn’t confirmed is deleted 7 days after its last confirmation email. We delete the whole list 30 days after the launch email.
  • Leaving: every email has a link that removes your address straight away. You can also email us.
  • Our basis: your consent, which you give by confirming your address, and which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Email: we send email through Resend, which processes your address to deliver it. Our emails have no tracking pixels and no tracked links.

The Tachy app

  • No analytics. Tachy sends no analytics, usage data or crash reports to us.
  • One server. To check for updates, Tachy contacts tachy.inferxgate.com and sends its version number. Tachy itself contacts no other server.
  • Your readings stay on your Mac. Readings and up to 30 days of history are kept in Tachy’s folder in your Library. Uninstalling Tachy deletes them.
  • Claude usage reads files on your Mac and runs your own copy of Claude Code, which talks to Anthropic under your account and Anthropic’s terms. Tachy never reads Claude Code’s tokens or claude.ai cookies, and sends us nothing.
  • Licenses are checked on your Mac. The app never contacts a server about them.

Buying Tachy Pro

Paddle processes your order and payment as the merchant of record, under its own privacy policy. We never see your card details. Paddle gives us your email address, your country and what you bought. We use them to issue your license, send it again if you lose it, and answer your questions. We keep them while your license runs, and after that only as long as tax or accounting law requires.

Who else handles data

  • Cloudflare: hosting, Turnstile, and the waitlist database.
  • Resend: sending email.
  • Paddle: orders and payments, once Pro is on sale.

They may process data outside your country, including in the United States.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Email support-tachy@inferxgate.com and we’ll answer within 30 days, free of charge. If you’re not satisfied, you can complain to your data protection authority; in India, that’s the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes

If what we collect changes, we update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
